The American forces are irresponsibly repeating their actions that undermine understandings and the commencement of bilateral dialogue. They have carried out a clear assassination operation by launching an airstrike in the heart of a residential neighborhood in Baghdad, demonstrating a blatant disregard for civilian lives and international law.
In doing so, they threaten civil peace, violate Iraqi sovereignty, and recklessly endanger the lives of our people. Even more dangerously, the international coalition is completely exceeding the reasons and objectives for which it was established on our land.
This course of action compels the Iraqi government, more than ever before, to end the mission of this coalition, which has become a destabilizing factor for Iraq and threatens to drag the country into a cycle of conflict. Our armed forces have no choice but to fulfill their constitutional duties and responsibilities, which require them to protect the security of Iraqis and the land of Iraq from all threats.
May God have mercy on the martyrs of this attack and on all the martyrs of Iraq.

تُكرر القوات الأمريكية، وبصورة غير مسؤولة، ارتكاب كل ما من شأنه تقويض التفاهمات والبدء بالحوار الثنائي، إذ أقدمت على تنفيذ عملية اغتيال واضحة المعالم، عبر توجيه ضربة جوية وسط حي سكني من أحياء العاصمة بغداد. بطريقة لا تكترث لحياة المدنيين وللقوانين الدولية.
وهي بذلك تهدد السلم الأهلي، وتخرق السيادة العراقية، وتستخف وتجازف بحياة الناس وأبناء شعبنا، والأخطر من ذلك، فإن التحالف الدولي يتجاوز تماماً الأسباب والأغراض التي وُجد من أجلها على أرضنا.
إن هذا المسار يدفع الحكومة العراقية أكثر من أي قت مضى، إلى إنهاء مهمة هذا التحالف الذي تحول إلى عامل عدم استقرار للعراق، ويهدد بجرّ العراق إلى دائرة الصراع، ولا يسع قواتنا المسلحة إلّا أن تضطلع بواجباتها ومهامها الدستورية التي تقتضي حفظ أمن العراقيين وأرض العراق من كل التهديدات.
الرحمة والرفعة لشهداء هذا الاعتداء ولكل شهداء العراق.
