We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. Allah Almighty said: “And give good tidings to the patient, who, when disaster strikes them, say, “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.” My uncle, Dr. Hamdi Yahya Al-Najjar, husband of Dr. Alaa Al-Najjar, was martyred due to his injuries as a result of the bombing of their home south of Khan Yunis, joining his nine children who were martyred before him.

انا لله وانا اليه راجعون قال تعالى : “وبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُواْ إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ “ استشهاد خالي الطبيب حمدي يحيى النجار زوج الطبيبة آلاء النجار، متأثراً بإصابته جراء قصف منزلهم جنوبي خان يونس، ليلتحق بأطفاله التسعة الذين استشهدوا قبله.
