With deep sorrow and grief, we bid farewell today to my nephew, the polite young man who memorized the Book of God, Muhammad Waseem Abu Sitta "Salman," who was martyred after being targeted in an area falsely called the "Humanitarian Aid Zone."
Today, we bid farewell to Muhammad. In this brutal massacre, we lost the most precious of our children: my sisters' sons and their children, my sister, and all my relatives.
O God, strengthen our hearts in this great tragedy, and grant us patience and solace.
O God, have mercy on them with Your vast mercy, and accept them into the gardens of bliss, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
O God, make them among the martyrs to whom You have promised the Gardens of Paradise, and join us with them while You are pleased with us, O Lord of the Worlds.

ببالغ الحزن والأسى، نودّع اليوم ابن أخي، الشاب المهذّب، الحافظ لكتاب الله، محمد وسيم أبو ستة “سلمان”، الذي ارتقى شهيدًا بعد استهدافه في منطقة تُسمّى زورًا “منطقة المساعدات الإنسانية”.
نودّع اليوم محمد، وفي هذه الإبادة الوحشية فقدنا فلذات أكبادنا: أبناء أخواتي وأولادهم، وأختي، وأقاربي جميعًا.
اللهم اربط على قلوبنا في هذا المصاب الجلل، وارزقنا الصبر والسلوان،
اللهم ارحمهم برحمتك الواسعة، وتقبّلهم في جنّات النعيم يا أرحم الراحمين،
اللهم اجعلهم من الشهداء الذين وعدتهم بجنات الفردوس، وألحقنا بهم وأنت راضٍ عنّا يا رب العالمين.
