((And never think that those who have been killed in the cause of Allah are dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision. (169) Rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them - that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. (170) They receive good tidings of favor from Allah and bounty, and that Allah does not waste the reward of the believers. (171))

With hearts believing in God's decree and destiny, we received the news of the martyrdom of Dr. Muhammad Al-Za'anin, his wife, and his sons: Hassan, Ubaida, Khalid, and Amr. We offer our condolences to the Al-Za'anin family and our people in steadfast Gaza. May God grant his son Jamil patience and solace in this tragedy, and we ask the Almighty to record them among the martyrs and the righteous.

((ولا تحسبنَّ الذين قتلوا في سبيل اللّه أمواتاً بل أحياءٌ عند ربِّهم يرزقون (169) فرحين بما آتاهُمُ اللّه من فضله ويستبشرون بالذين لـم يلحقوا بهم من خلفهم ألا خـوفٌ عليهم ولا هم يحزنون (170) يستبشرون بنعمةٍ من اللّه وفضلٍ وأنَّ اللّه لا يُضيعُ أجـر المؤمنين (171))
بقلوب مؤمنة بقضاء الله وقدره تلقينا نبأ استشهاد الدكتور محمد الزعانين وزوجته وأبنائه: حسن وعبيدة وخالد وعمرو، نعزي آل الزعانين وأهلنا في غزة الأبية، وربط الله على قلب ابنه جميل على هذا المصاب بجميل الصبر والسلوان، ونسأل المولى عز وجل ان يكتبهم عنده من الشهداء والابرار.
