Armed clashes are taking place between Turkish-backed factions, the Manbij Military Council, and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on both banks of the Euphrates near the Tishrin Dam. A frightening situation awaits the Kurds and the SDF, and what comes next is unknown. Negotiations are announced, but there are no progress. The person appointed as foreign minister will be responsible for the Kurdish file or the file of cooperation with the SDF within the Damascus government. We hope this will be done in a Syrian national manner to avoid further bloodshed, and that it will be under American auspices, as the US is a powerful player in the Syrian conflict.
