The National Agency - The border town of Tufail bid farewell to its martyrs, victims of the treacherous Israeli aggression on the Wadi Fara area in the Bekaa. The martyrs are: Fatoum Daher, Muhammad al-Sayyid and his wife Fidaa Saadeddine, and their two daughters. The Mufti of Baalbek-Hermel Governorate, Sheikh Bakr al-Rifai, participated in the funeral ceremony, accompanied by a delegation of scholars, municipal officials, and elected officials. He stressed in a eulogy that “Lebanese, Syrian, and Palestinian blood is one, and we do not grieve for martyrdom, but rather rejoice in it. These oppressed martyrs were striving to earn a living. They are like mujahideen in the path of God, and the means of livelihood and living were narrow for them in the town of Tufail, which was wronged by geography and was not treated fairly by the state. They died during a barbaric Zionist aggression that targets civilians and innocents, and does not differentiate between one country and another, or between one person and another. Yesterday in Tripoli and today in the Bekaa, and before that and after that, every day dozens of martyrs and wounded in the south.” He concluded: “We have offered martyrs, but our people in Ghra also offer everything they need.” A day of hundreds of martyrs and wounded, in addition to the systematic destruction. Our unity is our strength, and the blood of the martyrs will not be in vain. This enemy's rampage has an end, and the arms of the mujahideen are victorious, with God's help and guidance." Mufti Al-Rifai led the funeral prayers for the five martyrs.

الوكالة الوطنية - شيّعت بلدة طفيل الحدودية شهداءها ضحايا العدوان الإسرائيلي الغادر على محلة وادي فعرا البقاعية، والشهداء هم: فطوم ضاهر، محمد السيد وزوجته فداء سعد الدين، وطفلتيهما.وشارك في مراسم التشييع مفتي محافظة بعلبك الهرمل الشيخ بكر الرفاعي، يرافقه وفد علمائي وبلدي واختياري، وأكد في كلمة تأبينية أنّ "الدم اللبناني والسوري والفلسطيني واحد، ونحن لا نحزن للشهادة بل نفرح بها، وهؤلاء الشهداء المظلومين كانوا يسعون للقمة عيشهم، فهم كالمجاهدين في سبيل الله، ضاقت عليهم أسباب الرزق والعيش في بلدة طفيل التي ظلمتها الجغرافيا ولم تنصفها الدولة، وقضوا خلال عدوان همجي صهيوني يطال المدنيين والأبرياء، ولا يميز بين بلد وبلد، ولا بين إنسان وإنسان، بالأمس في طرابلس واليوم في البقاع وقبل ذلك وبعده كل يوم عشرات الشهداء والجرحى في الجنوب".وختم : "قدمنا شهداء، لكن أهلنا في غرْة يقدمون أيضًا كل يوم مئات الشهداء والجرحى إضافة إلى التدمير الممنهج. وحدتنا قوتنا ودماء الشهداء لن تذهب هدرًا وسدىً، وهذا العدو عربدته لها نهاية، وسواعد المجاهدىن منصورة بعون الله وتوفيقه".وأمّ المفتي الرفاعي الصلاة على جثامين الشهداء الخمسة.
