The city of Al-Dhamir awoke today, Monday, October 20, 2025, to tragic news that saddened many.

The young man, Khaled Abdul Aziz Al-Masoud, passed away.

He succumbed to injuries sustained during a raid on his home in the Al-Arab neighborhood of Al-Dhamir by the American-led coalition at dawn on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
Khaled Abdul Aziz Al-Masoud was a sheikh of the Al-Badour clan and belonged to a family known for its revolutionary spirit, as most of his family members were martyred during the blessed Syrian revolution.
He was one of the leaders and revolutionaries in Al-Dhamir who fought the Assad regime since the beginning of the revolution.
Our deepest condolences to the Al-Masoud family in particular and the Al-Badour clan in general for their profound loss.
We ask God to have mercy on our departed brother and grant him a place in the highest Paradise.
We will inform you of the funeral date as soon as it is determined, God willing.

استفاقت مدينة الضمير اليوم الإثنين ٢٠٢٥/١٠/٢٠ على خبر مؤسف أحزن الكثيرين
حيث توفي الشاب خالد عبد العزيز المسعود
على إثر إصابته بعد مداهمة تمت على منزله في حارة العرب في مدينة الضمير من قبل التحالف الأمريكي فجر يوم السبت ٢٠٢٥/١٠/١٨
الشاب خالد عبد العزيز المسعود هو أحد شيوخ عشيرة البدور ومن عائلة معروفة بثوريتها حيث استشهد أغلب أفراد عائلته أثناء الثورة السورية المباركة
وهو أحد القادة والثوار في مدينة الضمير الذين قاتلو نظام الأسد منذ بداية الثورة
تعازينا الحارة لأهلهنا آل المسعود خاصة وعشيرة البدور عامة بمصابهم الجلل
نسأل الله أن يرحم فقيدنا ويتقبله عنده في أعلى عليّن
