The International Coalition offered its condolences to the family of civilian Mahmoud al-Halil al-Shammari, who was killed in a military operation in the Hasakah countryside, expressing its regret over the incident. It explained that the airstrike was carried out based on a false report from the SDF militia about the presence of ISIS elements, which later proved to be misleading information that led to the death of an innocent civilian. The Coalition affirmed that those involved in the false report will be held accountable, without specifying the nature of the measures.

قدّم التحالف الدولي تعازيه لأسرة المدني محمود الهليل الشمري الذي قُتل بعملية عسكرية في ريف الحسكة، معربًا عن أسفه للحادث. وأوضح أن الغارة نُفذت بناءً على بلاغ كاذب من ميليشيا "قسد" عن وجود عناصر لتنظيم الدولة، ليتبين لاحقًا أنه معلومات مضللة أدت لمقتل مدني بريء. وأكد التحالف أنه سيُحاسب المتورطين في البلاغ الكاذب دون توضيح طبيعة الإجراءات.
