The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced that a squadron of Turkish warplanes and drones launched airstrikes this afternoon on several areas in the al-Ruwaished desert in the al-Shaddadi region, south of al-Hasakah.

The Turkish airstrikes targeted an SDF military post, residential homes of civilian workers, and a civilian vehicle carrying shepherds on the road between Deir ez-Zor and al-Hasakah. Turkish aircraft carried out more than 16 airstrikes.

According to the news published on the official SDF website, the bombing resulted in the deaths of four fighters and eight civilians.

وبحسب الخبر المنشور على الموقع الرسمي لقـ.ـوات سوريا الديمقراطية، فقد أدى القصـ.ـف إلى فقـ.ـدان أربعة مقـ.ـاتلين وثمانية مدنيين لحياتهم.
