A New Martyr
Captain Ahmed Mohammed Suleiman Abu Samah, the administrative director of the first and second football teams and coach of the Khatawat team at the Al-Zawaida Youth Club, has joined the ranks of martyrs of the sports movement. He was martyred on Thursday, July 10, 2025, when a medical point delivering food aid in the city of Deir al-Balah was targeted, accompanied by his two-year-old daughter Yasmine and his granddaughter Arwa, without prior warning.
