Imad Al-Shaer, my colleague and brother in the field. 💔🕊️
He wasn't on duty, nor was he obligated to go out,
but his conscience, duty, and manhood called him,
so he answered the call, donned his soul as armor, and went to rescue the martyrs from the rubble.
In the aftermath of the bombing of Nasser Hospital,
Imad was more than just a paramedic... he was a light walking in the darkness.
While extending his hand to save others, the hand of treachery snatched him away,
he ascended as a martyr, leaving behind a tear in the eyes of the nation,
and an immortal memory in the hearts of all who knew him.
Six of his colleagues were injured, and five journalists were martyred,
but Imad's voice will continue to fill the horizon:
"Humanity is not a job... it is a life we devote to those who have no voice."
Sleep in peace, Imad...
You who were a voice in a time of silence, and a beacon of light in a time of darkness.
We will continue to tell your story, not as a passing news item, but as a banner raised on the forehead of the nation.

لم يكن في نوبته، ولم يكن ملزمًا بالخروج،
لكن الضمير والواجب والرجولة نادوه،
فلبّى النداء، ولبس روحه درعًا، ومضى لينتشل الشهداء من بين الركام.
في أعقاب قصف مستشفى ناصر،
لم يكن عماد مجرد مُسعف… كان نورًا يسير في الظلام،
وبينما يمدّ يده لإنقاذ الآخرين، خطفته يد الغدر،
وارتقى شهيدًا، تاركًا خلفه دمعةً في عين الوطن،
وذكرى لا تموت في قلب كل من عرفه.
ستةٌ من زملائه أُصيبوا، وخمسةٌ من الصحافيين استشهدوا،
لكن صوت عماد سيظل يملأ الأفق:
"الإنسانية ليست وظيفة... بل حياة نُفنيها لمن لا صوت لهم."
