Moaz, my brother and friend, my companion in my days and my partner in my fatigue and laughter, your departure has broken my heart and left a void that nothing can ever fill.
You were with me at work, at night, in my sleep, in every detail of my life... and now you've left, leaving me alone, missing you every moment.
You were martyred, Moaz, while holding a camera and words. You were the voice of the oppressed and the mirror of truth. Today, you have become the story and the pain.
Peace be upon your pure soul, peace be upon your laughter that never leaves my mind.
Sleep in peace, my companion, for your memory will remain in my heart as long as I live, and your name will remain an inextinguishable light.

معاذ يا أخي وصديقي، يا رفيق أيامي وشريك تعبي وضحكي، رحيلك كسّر قلبي وترك فراغ ما في شيء ممكن يملأه.
كنت معي في العمل، في السهر، في النوم، في كل تفاصيل حياتي… والآن رحلت وتركتني وحيد أفتقدك في كل لحظة.
استشهدت يا معاذ وأنت تحمل الكاميرا والكلمة، كنت صوت المظلوم ومرآة الحقيقة، واليوم صرت أنت الحكاية والوجع.
سلام لروحك الطاهرة، سلام لضحكتك التي لا تغيب عن بالي.
نم مطمئنًا يا رفيق الدرب، فذكراك باقية في قلبي ما حييت، وسيبقى اسمك نورًا لا ينطفئ
