The family of Azmi Abu Shaar, a 10-year-old boy from Gaza, published his will after recently discovering it in his phone's notes. The will included touching words about his feelings about his imminent departure following the scenes of death and destruction he witnessed daily. The young martyr opened his will, which received widespread interaction across social media platforms, by saying, "Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings. If I sleep and the letter 'nun' (if I die) is gone, forgive me, my mother, my father, and my sisters, Naima, Shahd, Maryam, and Mahmoud." Azmi then addressed his family members again in an innocent tone, saying, "My mother and father, I am very sorry if I ever angered you. I, Azouz (his nickname), feel that I don't have much life left. God is my witness that I love you all, and my grandmother, my grandfather, my uncles, my aunts, and everyone. I hope they forgive me."

نشرت عائلة الطفل الغزي "عزمي أبو شعر" وصية طفلها ابن العشر سنوات بعد اكتشافها مؤخرا وجدها على مذكرة هاتفه، متضمنة كلمات مؤثرة عن شعوره بالرحيل قريبا إثر مشاهد المـ ـوت والدمار التي كان يشاهدها يوميا.
وافتتح الشـ ـهيد الصغير وصيته التي لاقت تفاعلا واسعا عبر منصات التواصل، بقوله "السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته، إذا نمت وذهب النون (إذا مُت) فسامحوني أمي، أبي، أخواتي نعيمة، شهد، مريم، محمود"
وخاطب عزمي أفراد عائلته مجددا بلهجة بريئة، قائلا” "أمي وأبي، أنا متأسف جدا إذا أغضبتكم يوما، أنا عزوز (لقبه) حاسس حالي مش مطوّل (أشعر أن عمري ليس طويلا).. يشهد الله أني أحبكم كلكم، وستي (جدتي)، وسيدي (جدي)، وأعمامي وعماتي وكل الناس، أرجو أن يسامحوني".
