“To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.” With hearts that believe in Allah’s will and destiny, and with patient and content souls, we announce the martyrdom of my dear mother, the virtuous educator, Ms. Faiza Salman Hussein Al-Humaidi, who ascended to her Lord as a martyr – God willing – as a result of a treacherous bombing in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, near the Hanin Mosque. We consider her a martyr in the sight of Allah, and we do not vouch for anyone. A virtuous educator and teacher for more than 33 years, she devoted her life to serving knowledge and educating generations, and today she departs as a martyr on a blessed day, the sixth of Dhul-Hijjah. We ask Allah Almighty to accept her well, to honor her abode, to make her grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise, and to grant her the highest paradise with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, and what excellent companions they are. We say only what pleases our Lord: Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. O Allah, strengthen our hearts, reward us for our affliction, and replace it with something better. Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs against the wicked, criminal murderers.

﴿ إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون ﴾ بقلوب مؤمنة بقضاء الله وقدره، وبنفوس صابرة محتسبة نزفّ خبر استشهاد والدتي العزيزة، المربية الفاضلة الأستاذة فايزة سلمان حسين الحميدي والتي ارتقت إلى ربها شهيدة – بإذن الله – إثر قصفٍ غادر في منطقة المواصي بخان يونس، بالقرب من مسجد حنين. نحسبها عند الله من الشهداء، ولا نزكّي على الله أحداً. مربية فاضلة، ومعلمة لأكثر من 33 عاماً، أفنت عمرها في خدمة العلم وتربية الأجيال، وها هي اليوم ترحل شهيدة في أيامٍ مباركة، السادس من ذي الحجة. نسأل الله العظيم أن يتقبلها قبولاً حسناً، وأن يكرم نزلها، ويجعل قبرها روضة من رياض الجنة، ويرزقها الفردوس الأعلى مع النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين، وحسن أولئك رفيقاً. ولا نقول إلا ما يرضي ربنا: حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل. اللهم اربط على قلوبنا، وأجرنا في مصيبتنا، واخلف لنا خيراً منها. حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل في القتلة الفجرة المجرمين..
