A memorial service was held in the town's Husseiniya for the martyr Salim Salman al-Khatib, attended by a crowd of residents and religious and social figures. The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech by the Deputy Head of Hezbollah's First Region, Sheikh Ahmad Murad. The speech addressed the martyr's life and sacrifices for the sake of honor and dignity, affirming loyalty to his pure blood and following in the path of the martyrs until victory is achieved. The ceremony concluded with a recitation of a Husseini condolence verse, recited by the town's imam, Sheikh Muhammad Karim, in memory of the martyr and the souls of the righteous martyrs, in an atmosphere filled with sadness, pride, and honor.

تناولت سيرة الشهيد وتضحياته في سبيل العزّة والكرامة مؤكّدةً الوفاء لدمائه الطاهرة والسير على درب الشهداء حتى تحقيق النصر.
واختُتم الحفل بقراءة مجلس عزاء حسيني تلاه إمام البلدة فضيلة الشيخ محمد كريم عن روح الشهيد وأرواح الشهداء الأبرار، في أجواء ممزوجة بالحزن والفخر والاعتزاز .
