“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return.” With a heavy heart, I mourn the loss of my brother-in-law, the martyred journalist Ibrahim Hajjaj, who ascended to heaven with his pure soul, wielding his camera as a weapon against injustice, to convey the truth in a time of oppression.

O Allah, grant us patience and solace, make his grave a garden of Paradise, and grant his family and loved ones strength and steadfastness.
