What happened to me and my fellow martyrs and wounded today
After finishing filming a TV report about the targeting of the Abu al-Naja family home and the deaths of 30 people southeast of Khan Yunis, I asked my colleague Hamza, "Where is Mustafa?" He told me he had finished his work and was waiting for me next to the car, so I quickly went out to meet Mustafa. A conversation took place between Mustafa, Hamza, and me about the work mechanism and the situation in general. At the end of our meeting, my colleague Ahmed Al-Barsh and I were all in the same circle, so I asked Mustafa for his national ID number, so I saved it and tried to call until my number appeared with Mustafa. I didn’t have time to call when I heard the sound of an explosion and smoke filling the place. We looked around and saw that the missile was about 10 meters away from us. At that moment, I felt something penetrate my right side, and my colleague Ahmed Al-Barsh started screaming, and all the colleagues became panicked and afraid. I quickly took off with my colleague Ahmed and we got into the ambulance that was present at the site to retrieve the victims of the Abu Al-Naja family. Ahmed, I, and the paramedics set off in the ambulance. Inside the ambulance were two bodies from the Abu Al-Naja family at the time: Hamza and Mustafa, and the rest of the journalist colleagues set off quickly behind the ambulance towards Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital. In the middle of the road, the sound of an explosion that cannot be described! The ambulance stopped. We looked around and saw a targeted car behind the ambulance. We tried to get out and escape from the ambulance, but our colleague Ahmed Al-Barsh could neither stand nor move. Tension, fear, and anxiety began to control us. Should I leave Ahmed? Should I stay with him? Should I film the event? Who was inside the targeted car? Were we the targets? Mustafa and Hamza? Yes, yes. Many questions and much thought. I looked at the targeted car and realized that it was the car of Hamza, Mustafa, and our colleagues. We got in the ambulance and arrived at Abu Yousef Al-Najjar Hospital. Minutes later, an ambulance arrived quickly. I left Ahmed and quickly got out to find out who was targeted in the car. Unfortunately, Hamza Al-Dahdouh and Mustafa Thuria were martyrs, and the rest of the colleagues were seriously injured. May God have mercy on them and heal the rest of the colleagues. Thank God, I still have time to live.

ما حدث لنا اليوم انا وزملائي الشهداء والمصابين
بعد الانتهاء من تصوير تقرير تلفزيوني عن استهداف منزل لعائلة ابو النجا وارتقاء 30 قمر جنوب شرق مدينة خان يونس، سئلت الزميل حمزة اين مصطفى؟ فقال لي انهى عمله وهو ينتظرني بجوار السيارة فخرجت مسرعا لالتقي بمصطفى فدار حديث بيني وبين مصطفى وحمزة عن آلية العمل والأوضاع بشكل عام، في ختام لقائنا انا والزميل أحمد البرش كنا جميعنا في حلقة واحدة فطلبت من مصطفى رقمه الوطنية فقمت بتخزينه وحاولت الاتصال حتى يظهر رقمي عند مصطفى، ما لحقت أتصل واذ بصوت الإنفجار والدخان يملئ المكان نظرنا حولنا فوجدنا الصاروخ بعيد عنا ما يقارب 10 أمتار وقتها شعرت بشيء اخترق خاصرتي اليمنى، وإذ بالزميل أحمد البرش بدأ بالصراخ، وجميع الزملاء أصبحوا في حالة من الذعر والخوف، انطلقت مسرعا مع زميلي أحمد ودخلنا في سيارة الاسعاف التي كانت متواجدة في المكان لإنتشال ضحايا عائلة أبو النجا فانطلقنا في سيارة الاسعاف انا وأحمد والمسعفيين، وكان بداخل الاسعاف جثتين من عائلة أبو النجا وقتها حمزة ومصطفى وباقي الزملاء الصحفيين انطلاقا مسرعين خلف سيارة الإسعاف باتجاه مستشفى أبو يوسف النجار، في منتصف الطريق، صوت انفجار لا يمكن وصفه! توقف الإسعاف نظرنا حولنا واذ بسيارة مُستهدفة خلف الإسعاف، حاولنا الخروج والهرب من سيارة الإسعاف لكن الزميل أحمد البرش لم يستطيع الوقوف ولا الحركة، التوتر والخوف والقلق أصبح يسيطر علينا، هل أترك أحمد؟ هل ابقى معه؟ أصور الحدث؟ من بداخل السيارة المستهدفة؟ هل نحن المستهدفون؟ هل مصطفى وحمزة؟ هل وهل أسئلة كثير وتفكير كثير، نظرت إلى السيارة المستهدفة أيقنت بأنها سيارة حمزة ومصطفي والزملاء، ركبنا الإسعاف ووصلنا مستشفى أبو يوسف النجار وبعد دقائق وصلت سيارة إسعاف مسرعة تركت أحمد وخرجت مسرعاً لاعرف مين المُستهدف في السيارة، للأسف كانا حمزة الدحدوح ومصطفى ثريا شهداء وباقي الزملاء إصابات خطيرة.
