{And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient.} With a sad heart and a soul that believes in Allah's will and destiny, I mourn my cousin, the martyr Uday Sharif Al-Awisi, who passed away to be with his Lord, joining his martyred brother Riyad. I offer my sincere condolences to my uncle and his family. May Allah reward them for patience and acceptance, strengthen their hearts, and make him an intercessor for them. O Allah, reunite Uday and Riyad in the gardens of bliss, and make their graves full of light, spaciousness, and mercy, and forgive them and raise their ranks, and compensate for our loss with all that is beautiful from You. To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.

﴿وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ﴾
بقلبٍ حزين ونفسٍ مؤمنة بقضاء الله وقدره، أنعي ابن خالي الشهيد عدي شريف العويسي، الذي قضي إلى جوار ربه ملتحقا بأخيه الشهيد رياض.
أتقدّم بخالص التعازي إلى خالي وعائلته ، وكتب الله لهم أجر الصبر والاحتساب، وربط على قلوبهم وجعله شفيعا لهم.
اللهم اجمع بين عدي ورياض في جنات النعيم، واجعل قبريهما نورًا وسعة ورحمة، واغفر لهما وارفع درجاتهما، واجبر مصابنا بكل جميل من عندك.
