The closest to my heart.. Many left us during the war, but no one surrounded me with sadness like today.. It was as if a thunderbolt struck my heart for his loss.. I have never mourned anyone else before.. But my consolation is that he attained martyrdom.. Today, my beloved, my relative, my heroic brother, the brave, laughing, cheerful Ahmad Asaad Abu Matar departed.. A martyr in the occupation's bombing of him while he was working.. We only say what pleases our Lord.. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.

أقربهم لقلبي .. غادرنا الكثيرون خلال الحرب ولكن لم يلتف الحزن حولي كما اليوم .. كأن صاعقة نزلت على قلبي لفقدانه ..لم أرث غيره من قبل .. لكن عزائي أنه نال الشهادة .. ارتحل اليوم حبيبي ونسيبي وأخي البطل المقدام الضاحك المستبشر أحمد أسعد أبو مطير .. شهيدا في قصف الاحتلال له أثناء عمله ..
ولا نقول إلا ما يرضي ربنا .. إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.
