The Israeli occupation killed journalist and poet Amna Hamid (34 years old) with a missile that targeted her father's house, where she had taken refuge after a long displacement journey.
The right-wing Hebrew Channel 14 published a report in which it published Amna's name and photo after the siege of Al-Shifa Hospital, claiming that she was the "women's official" for Islamic Jihad, where she met with Hamas and Islamic Jihad figures to establish a government building in Al-Shifa. This is a false claim.
The occupation creates targets to claim it is achieving something. Amna sought refuge in Al-Shifa Hospital, like other residents of the Gaza Strip, with her six children after being repeatedly bombed in their displacement areas. She was living in one of the hospital rooms with dozens of other families in less than humane conditions.
Her little girl, Duha, who was born a few days before the war, suffered a head injury and continues to suffer from it until yesterday—the date of the attack. Amna was also injured.
Amina is a journalist who has served as the deputy head of the Women's Framework of the Islamic Jihad Movement since 2021. This is a purely administrative and civilian position, in which she cares for the widows of martyrs, orphans, prisoners, and the movement's civil activities. Any incitement practiced by the occupation against her is a justification for the crime of bombing the house in which Amina and her children were located. The eldest was Mahdi, 11 years old, who was martyred along with his mother, and the youngest was Duha, 7 months old.

نشرت قناة 14 العبرية اليمينية تقريرًا نشرت فيه اسم آمنة وصورتها بعد حصارهم مستشفى الشفاء، معتبرين إنها (مسؤولة النساء) في الجهاد الإسلامي التي كانت تجتمع فيه مع شخصيات من حماس والجهاد لاقامة مبنى حكومي في الشفاء، وهذا كلام عارٍ عن الصحة.
يصنع الاحتلال أهدافًا ليقول إنه يحقق شيئًا، فآمنة لجأت لمستشفى الشفاء كغيرها من سكان قطاع غزة، لجأت هناك مع أطفالها الستة بعد تعرضهم للقصف مرات في أماكن نزوحهم. وكانت تعيش في غرفة من غرف المستشفى مع عشرات العائلات في ظروف أقل من إنسانية.
صغيرتها ضحى التي ولدت قبل الحرب بأيام تعرضت لإصابة برأسها تعاني منها حتى الأمس -تاريخ استهدافهم- وأصيبت آمنة كذلك.
آمنة صحافية، كانت نائب مسؤول الإطار النسوي لحركة الجهاد الإسلامي منذ عام 2021، وهو منصب إداري ومدني بحت، تهتم بموجبه بأرامل الشهداء، والأيتام والأسرى والفعاليات المدنية الخاصة بالحركة، وكل تحريض مارسه الاحتلال ضدها هو تبرير لجريمة قصف المنزل الذي كانت به آمنة وأطفالها، أكبرهم مهدي 11 سنة والذي استشهد رفقة والدته، وأصغرهم ضحى 7 أشهر..
