Farewell our brother, our beloved, our dear martyr Ahmed Badeer, who insisted on joining the ranks of the martyrs after a full and committed struggle... The martyr of freedom and the martyr of committed journalism who died while conveying the news from the proud land of Gaza... Yesterday you cried with us over the separation from your brother, the martyr Omar Al-Nayef, and today we all cry, young and old, over your separation... Our consolation is that you and Omar made your decision from a young age to dedicate your lives, which fate willed would not be long, for the sake of the most just cause in human history... How we longed to see you, Ahmed, but fate beat us to it... Farewell, beloved...
