My brother was martyred... and my pain is unfathomable.
With hearts that believe in God's will and destiny, and with eyes filled with sadness and pride, I announce to you the martyrdom of my brother Ahmed Kamal Zaqout, who ascended to his Lord as a martyr, God willing, defending his land and his people, patient, content, and steadfast in the truth.
Your body has departed, but your spirit remains within us and will never leave us. We mourn you with tears of loss, and we are proud of you, who concluded his life with martyrdom.
O God, accept him in the highest heavens, make his grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise, and bind our hearts as You bound the heart of Moses' mother.

استُشهد أخي.. ووجعي لا يُكتب
بقلوبٍ مؤمنة بقضاء الله وقدره، وبعيونٍ يملؤها الحزن والفخر، أنعى إليكم استشهاد أخي أحمد كمال زقوت، الذي ارتقى إلى جوار ربه شهيدًا بإذن الله، مدافعًا عن أرضه وشعبه، صابرًا محتسبًا ثابتًا على الحق.
رحلت جسدًا وبقيت فينا روحًا لا تفارقنا، نبكيك بدموع الفقد، ونفتخر بك يا من ختم حياته بالشهادة.
اللهم تقبله في عليين، واجعل قبره روضة من رياض الجنة، واربط على قلوبنا كما ربطت على قلب أم موسى.
