Martyr Wael Rajab Abu Fanouneh.
Director of Al-Quds Today TV, 33 years old, the ambassador of the prisoners and their voice outside the walls of their prisons. The martyr who asked for it, prayed for it, and attained it.
Wael Fanouneh was a distinguished journalist who carried the message of resistance and prisoners throughout the world and conveyed it to the best of his ability. His eternal compass in all his actions was Jerusalem, and his motivation for everything he did was Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Wael was a man of good character, easygoing, smiling, and laughing. The light of his heart was evident in his kind face. This is how I describe him.
He deserves, for those who fought throughout their lives and devoted their lives for the sake of God, to rest in peace as a martyr.

الشهيد وائل رجب أبو فنونة.
مدير فضائية القدس اليوم، يبلغ من العمر 33 عاماً، سفيرُ الأسرى وصوتهم خارج جدرانِ سجونهم، الشَّهيد الذي طلبها ودعا بِها فنالَها.
وائل فنونة إعلاميٌّ مُتميّز حمل رسالة المقاومة والأسرى في كل الأرض وأوصلها بما استطاع، كانت بوصلته الأبديّة في كل أعماله القدس، وكان دافعه لكُلّ ما فعل الأقصى.
وائل وهو طيّب الأثر، خفيف الظّل، الباسِم الضّحوك، الذي يُرى نور قلبه من وجهه الطيِّب، هكذا أُجيد وصفه.
يستحقُ لمن حاربَ طيلةَ حياتهِ، وأفنى العُمرَ في سبيل الله أنّ يرتاح شهيداً.
