On Thursday, the Khaldeh area, south of Beirut, witnessed an Israeli airstrike targeting a civilian car traveling on the main coastal highway, causing two powerful explosions that shook the entire area.
According to local security sources, the Israeli Air Force carried out a precise strike targeting the vehicle as it passed on the highway, completely destroying it and sparking a fire at the site of the explosion.
The Israeli military said in a statement: "The IDF struck a short while ago in Lebanon against a terrorist who was involved in arms smuggling and advancing terrorist plots against Israeli citizens and IDF forces on behalf of the Iranian Quds Force."
Israeli Army Radio said it was "an unusual attack from two angles: The depth of the attack – about 75 kilometers from the border with Israel and a few kilometers from Beirut Airport – is not a member of Hezbollah, but rather of the Iranian Quds Force."

شهدت منطقة خلدة الواقعة جنوب العاصمة بيروت، الخميس، غارة جوية إسرائيلية استهدفت سيارة مدنية كانت تسير على الأوتوستراد الساحلي الرئيسي، مما أدى إلى سماع دوي انفجارين قويين هزا المنطقة بأكملها.
ووفقًا لمصادر أمنية محلية، فإن الطيران الإسرائيلي نفذ ضربة دقيقة استهدفت المركبة أثناء مرورها على الأوتوستراد، ما أدى إلى تدميرها بالكامل واندلاع حريق في موقع الانفجار
وقال الجيش الإسرائيلي في بيان: «أغار جيش الدفاع قبل قليل في لبنان على مخرب كان يعمل في مجال تهريب الأسلحة والدفع بمخططات إرهابية ضد مواطنين إسرائيليين وقوات جيش الدفاع نيابة عن فيلق القدس الإيراني».
وقالت إذاعة الجيش في الكيان الإسرائيلي إنه «هجوم غير مألوف من جانبين: عمق الهجوم – حوالي 75 كيلومترًا من الحدود مع إسرائيل، وبضعة كيلومترات من مطار بيروت، هو ليس عضوًا في حزب الله، بل من فيلق القدس الإيراني
