Gaza, August 25, 2025
A massacre of journalists and civil defense personnel occurred during the occupation's bombing of Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, as a result of two consecutive attacks. Journalists Hossam al-Masry (a photojournalist for Reuters), Mohammed Salama (a photojournalist for Al Jazeera), Moaz Abu Taha (a journalist for the American NBC network), and Mariam Abu Daqqa (a journalist for Independent Arabia and AP), along with 15 other Palestinian citizens, were killed.
Journalist Ahmed Abu Aziz also succumbed to his wounds. Ahmed Abu Ghazira worked with several local media outlets, in addition to his work as a part-time reporter for Tunisian radio, Diwan FM, and had previously worked for the Middle East News website.
Photojournalist Mohammed Fayek was also seriously injured with shrapnel throughout his body. Journalist Hatem Omar was injured in the head and suffered shrapnel throughout his body. Journalist Jamal Badah lost his right leg. Among the medical personnel, Dr. Muhammad Mahmoud Ismail al-Habibi was martyred.
Among the civil defense personnel, firefighter Imad Abdul Hakim was martyred, and seven paramedics were injured.
The death toll from today's Zionist attack has reached 20 Palestinian citizens, in addition to a number of wounded.

Updated: The death toll from the occupation's massacre targeting the Nasser Medical Complex on August 25, 2025, has reached 22 martyrs, after two of the martyrs succumbed to their wounds.*
The number of martyred journalists and media workers has reached 245.

مجزرة بحق الصحفيين وطواقم الدفاع المدني أثناء قصف الاحتلال مستشفى ناصر الطبي خانيونس جراء استهدافين متعاقبيْن . و استشهاد الصحفيين حسام المصري ( مصورصحفي لدى وكالة رويترز للأنباء) ، ومحمد سلامة ( مصور صحفي لدى الجزيرة ) ، ومعاذ أبو طه ( صحفي لدى شبكة NBC الأمريكية ) ، ومريم أبو دقة ( صحفية لدى ندبندنت عربية وAP ) بالإضاقة الى 15 مواطن فلسطيني أخر.
كما ‏استشهد الصحفي أحمد أبو عزيز متأثرا بجراحه، وكان الشهيد أحمد أبو غزيرة يعمل مع عدد من وسائل إعلامية محلية إضافة إلى عمله كمراسل جزئي مع الاذاعة التونسية، ديوان اف ام، وعمل سابقا مع موقع ميدل ايست الاخباري).
‏وأصيب أيضا المصور الصحفي محمد فايق الذي أصيب إصابة خطيرة بشظايا متفرقة في جسده ، والصحفي حاتم عمر الذي أصيب في رأسه وتعرض لشظايا في جسده، ، و الصحفي جمال بدح الذي فقد قدمه اليمنى.
واستشهد من بين الطواقم الطبية الطبيب محمد محمود إسماعيل الحبيبي.
واستشهد من بين طواقم الدفاع المدني ‏سائق الإطفاء الشهيد عماد عبد الحكيم وأصيب سبعة من المسعفين .
حصيلة الهجوم الصهيوني اليوم وصلت الى 20 مواطن فلسطيني بالاضافة الى عدد من الجرحى .
