My beloved Hassan, my friend, my companion, and my cousin who was the first to rush to relieve my distress... He supported me as I cried out over the martyrdom of his brother Youssef a few days ago. He said to me, "It's not a loss, I swear to God." My brother Youssef and I vowed to stand firm on the truth until we are victorious or join the ranks of the martyrs. The two beloved ones attained martyrdom while striving to provide food for the people, doing good, and supplying them with water without charge. These two brothers who embarked on the path of heroism and refused to sit with the idle. I bid you farewell with tears in my eyes. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.

ثبتني حين كنت أصرخ على استشهاد أخيه يوسف قبل أيام معدودة، وقال لي: “مش خسارة بربنا”، وتعاهدت أنا وأخي يوسف أن نثبت على الحق حتى ننتصر أو نلتحق بالشهداء، فنال الحبيبان الشهادة وهما يسعيان لتأمين الطعام للناس، ويسعيان في الخير وإمدادهم بالمياه دون مقابل.
هذان الأخوان اللذان امتطيا طريق البطولة ورفضا القعود مع القاعدين.
