The affliction is great and the loss is immense. We can only say what pleases God. There is no power or strength except with God, the Most High, the Almighty. (To God we belong and to Him we shall return.) With hearts filled with faith, sadness, and grief, I received the news of the martyrdom of all my cousins: Fatima Raed Hassouna, Alaa Raed Hassouna, Walaa Raed Hassouna, Muhannad Raed Hassouna, Mohammed Raed Hassouna, Yazan Raed Hassouna. We ask God to have mercy on their souls and forgive them and to grant them the highest level of Paradise, O Lord. And to heal my uncle Raed and his wife, O Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

المصاب جلل والفقد عظيم ولا نقول إلا ما يرضي الله
لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله العلي العظيم (إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون )
