We mourn the passing of a new group of my family members, martyrs on the path to Jerusalem and liberation. Today we mourn the great leader, Major General Jamil Odeh Abu Daqqa, the former Secretary of the Fatah Movement, who spent a third of his life in the occupation’s dungeons and spent the rest of his life supporting the oppressed and persecuted and defending his people. Abu Bashar departed along with the sons and knights of my heroic family, the martyred Mujahid Younis Abu Daqqa and the martyr Tariq al-Naqa, as a result of a treacherous Zionist raid that targeted them while they were safe in the town of Abasan al-Kabira. We do not say farewell to you, my beloved, but until we meet again soon, God willing, and we say to you only what pleases our Lord. To God we belong and to Him we shall return. God is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

نزفُ للعلياء ثُلّة جديدة من أبناء عائلتي شهداء على طريق القدس والتحرير .. نزف اليوم القائد الهُمام اللواء جميل عودة ابودقة أمين سر حركة فتح السابق والذي أمضى ثلت سنوات عمره في زنازين الإحتلال وأفنى بقيّة حياته مناصرا للمظلومين والمضطهدين ومدافعاً عن أبناء شعبه.. رحل أبو بشار رفقة أبناء وفرسان عائلتي الأبطال الشهيد المجاهد يونس ابودقة والشهيد طارق الناقة إثر غارة صهيونية غادرة استهدفتهم وهم آمنين في بلدة عبسان الكبيرة .. لا نقول لكم وداعاً يا أحبتي .. بل للقاء قريب بإذن الله ولا نقول لكم الا ما يرضي ربنا.. إنا لله وإنا اليه راجعون .. حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل
