The late Iyad al-Rawagh was neither an "icon" nor a celebrity, so no one cared about his or his family's suffering.
Despite the passage of more than two weeks since Iyad's humanitarian appeal for his child, the evacuation planes, already busy with Instagram celebrities, were unable to accommodate him. Warplanes preceded them, and he died along with his father and other relatives, leaving his mother and older brother alone and far away.

لم يكن المرحوم إياد الرواغ "أيقونة" أو مشهوراً لذلك لم يكترث أحد لمعاناته وعائلته.
ورغم مرور أكثر من أسبوعين على المناشدة الإنسانية التي أطلقها إياد من أجل طفله إلّا أنّ طائرات الإخلاء التي كانت مشغولة بمشاهير الأنستغرام لم تتسع له وسبقتها الطائرات الحربية فارتقى صحبة أبيه وآخرين من أقاربه تاركاً أمّه وشقيقه الأكبر وحيدين بعيدين.
