To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. The martyrdom of my husband's third cousin, brother of Ziad Al-Madhoun and Kamal Al-Madhoun, Shafiq Al-Madhoun. May Allah console your heart, Umm Adnan, and help you bear the loss of your children. Allah the Almighty says: (And give good tidings to the patient, who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return."). Allah's words are true. To Allah belongs what He takes and to Allah belongs what He gives, and everything with Him has a specified term. With hearts content with Allah's will and destiny... We mourn the martyrdom of my two brothers, Shafiq Jameel Adnan Al-Madhoun and Shafiq Al-Madhoun Abu Al-Fahd. We ask Allah the Almighty to have mercy on him and to grant him a place in His spacious gardens and to inspire us with patience and solace for their loss.
