I wanted to publish the letters you sent me, letters that when I read them, I loved myself and made me see my future in a bright and dazzling way. I will never forget the time when I wanted to withdraw from a place where you wanted me to stay, and out of encouragement and insistence to stay, you said to me, "Nour, don't withdraw. I see Amina Hamid in you, and in the future you will remember my words." Today, I am the one telling you, you were and will remain the only woman I looked up to with idealism and distinction... But today I am publishing your photo to tell the world with all my heart filled with pain and grief that the media personality, poet, intellectual, political activist, and voice of Palestinian women is in the care of the Most Gracious. كنت أريد أن أنشر صورتك وأقول للعالم أن هذه هي الإنسانة الأولى التي كنت أنظر اليها كقدوة لي في عقليتها وثقافتها وأسلوبها ولباقتها ، في علمها وعملها ، في دعمها للمرأة الفلسطينية أينما كانت نعم بل كانت صوت وصورة المرأة الفلسطينية على الراديو والتلفاز والجريدة ، كنت أريد أن أنشر رسائلك التي كنتي ترسليها لي، رسائل كنت عندما أقرأها أحب نفسي وتجعلني أرى مستقبلي بصورة مشرقة وباهرة ، لا أنسى في ذات مرة كنت أريد أن انسحب من مكان كنتِ تريديني أن أبقى فيه ومن باب التشجيع والإصرار على البقاء قلتِ لي " نور ما تنسحبي أنا ارى فيكِ آمنة حميد وبالمستقبل هتتذكري كلامي " واليوم أنا الي بحكيلك كنتِ وستزالي المرأة الوحيدة التي نظرت لها بمثالية وتميز .......
ولكن اليوم أنشر صورتك لأقول للعالم بكل قلب مليء بالوجع والقهر أن الإعلامية والشاعرة والمثقفة والناشطة السياسية وصوت المرأة الفلسطينية في رعاية الرحمن
