We mourn the heartbreaking loss of Wafa Ayesh, a young pharmacist, a devoted PCRF volunteer, and the beloved niece of our colleague Israa Mutair.
Wafa had graduated one month before the war began. Full of promise and purpose, she volunteered alongside Israa and our team in Gaza, helping to organize and track life-saving medications in Rafah with quiet strength and determination.
Last night, Wafa was martyred, alongside her entire family, taking yet another bright light from Gaza.
We remember Wafa as one of us: a young humanitarian who stood for healing, dignity, and service to others.
May her memory light our work, and may we honor her, and all those taken from us too soon, through every act of healing to come..
