Mehrangiz Aymanpour, a painter, was killed in the Israeli attacks on Evin Prison. Reza Khandan Mahabadi, a writer and member of the Iranian Writers' Association and a former political prisoner, announced on his Instagram page that Mehrangiz Aymanpour, his ex-wife, was killed in the Israeli attacks on Evin Prison on Monday, June 23. He posted a picture of Mehrangiz Aymanpour and wrote: "Mehrangiz was a painter and the mother of my children, Arash and Bahar. Mehrangiz was the beauty of my children's lives. The war between two reactionary and warmongering governments took away the beauty of their lives two days ago. In this land, the ugliness, many Mehrangizs, many beauties, have been destroyed to establish the throne of their vile government." مهرانگیز ایمن‌پور هنرمند نقاش در حملات اسرائیل به زندان اوین کشته شدرضا خندان مهابادی، نویسنده عضو کانون نویسندگان ایران و زندانی سیاسی سابق در صفحه اینستاگرام خود خبر داد که مهرانگیز ایمن‌پور، همسر سابقش در حملات روز دوشنبه ۲ تیر اسرائیل به زندان اوین کشته شده است.او با انتشار تصویری از مهرانگیز ایمن‌پور، نوشت: «مهرانگیز هنرمند نقاش و مادر فرزندانم، آرش و بهار، بود. مهرانگیز زیبایی زندگی فرزندانم بود. جنگ میان دو حکومت مرتجع و جنگ‌افروز، دو روز پیش، زیبایی زندگی آن‌ها را گرفت. در این سرزمین، زشت‌خویان، مهرانگیزهای بسیار، زیبایی‌های بسیار، بر خاک افکنده‌اند تا تخت حکومت پلشت‌شان را استوار دارند.»به‌گفته کانون نویسندگان ایران محل زندگی مهرانگیز ایمن‌پور در نزدیکی محل انفجار بوده و به همین دلیل کشته شده است.https://www.radiozamaneh.com/news/26-06-2025/#rz-858863
