The mother of the martyred infant girl, Yumna Al-Rifai, writes about her daughter’s death, saying: “I chose her name Tanqaya. I loved her name so much. I was pregnant with her and was afraid for her. In the ninth month, they told me her water had decreased and she might die. I ran to the hospital and cried, wanting to save her, and I had a caesarean section so I could just give birth to her. I told them, ‘Is there something wrong with her?’ They told me she was fine, but when I went out and held her in my arms, I didn’t feel anything, and I had a strange feeling!!”

أم الطفلة الرضيعة الشhيدة يُمنى الريفي تكتب في ارتقاء طفلتها وتقول : نقيت اسمها تنقاية حبيت اسمها كتيير أنا حملت فيها وخوفت عليها بالشهر التاسع حكولي المية نقصت عنها واحتمال تموت جريت عالمستشفى وعيطت بدي انقذها وولدت قيصري عشان اضل بس ولدتها،، حكتلهم هي عايشة فيها اشي ؟ حكولي هي بخير بس طلعت حطيتها بحضني ماحسيت بأي اشي وكان عندي شعور غريب!!
