All the testimonies we received indicate that my beloved sister's husband, Dr. Abdul Karim Abed, was martyred and his pure body was laid to rest inside the Indonesian hospital. People at the hospital were unable to identify him, but our consolation is that he is known to the heavenly people, God willing, in a seat of truth with the Almighty King. Abdul Karim was one of the kindest, most wonderful, and most refined people I have known, not only as a brother-in-law, but also as a brother and friend. We do not vouch for anyone before God. He was kind-hearted, gentle, modest, and gentle, a man of action. He was polite, reserved, and spoke little. He listened to others, and when he did speak, his words were always good. I never knew him to backbite or hurt others. He chose to work in the medical field to be close to patients, striving to the best of his ability to help them and meet their medication needs. He was a good husband to his wife, a good father to his children, a good son to his parents, a good brother to his brothers, and a good friend to his friends. Anyone who worked with Dr. Abdul Karim knows well the importance of his position in oversight and inspection in one of the most important departments in the Ministry of Health. They also know how Abu Muhammad performed his duties to the fullest, with complete honesty and sincerity. May God grant you patience, our beloved relatives, the honorable Abed family, on the passing of our beloved Abdul Karim. Our sincere condolences to you and to my patient and steadfast sister, Rufaida (Umm Muhammad), who bid farewell to her husband and brother on the same day. Abdul Karim left behind a good family whose memory will live on in us as long as we live. May you enter Paradise, God willing. These were your last moments with my brother Bilal in this world, and you were martyred together. God willing, you will be together in the afterlife.

كل الإفادات التي حصلنا عليها تشير إلى أن زوج أختي الحبيب الدكتور الصيدلي عبد الكريم عابد استشهد ووري جثمانه الطاهر الثرى داخل المستشفى الإندونيسي. لم يتمكن الناس في المشفى من التعرف عليه ولكن عزاؤنا انه معروف عند أهل السماء باذن الله في مقعد صدق عند مليك مقتدر.
عبد الكريم من أطيب وأروع وأرقى من عرفت ليس فقط كصهر بل كأخ وصديق ولا نزكي على الله أحدا. طيب القلب، هين لين حيي دمث الخلق رجل مواقف. كان من أدبه لا يعرف الثرثرة قليل الكلام يصغي للأخرين وان تحدث فكلامه كله خير، لم أعهد عليه الغيبة ولا جرح الأخرين. اختار العمل في المجال الطبي ليكون قريبا من المرضى يسعى جاهدا بكل إمكانياته لمساعدتهم وتوفير احتياجاتهم من الأدوية.
كان نعم الزوج لزوجته ونعم الأب لأبنائه، ونعم الابن لوالديه ونعم الاخ لإخوانه ونعم الصديق لأصدقائه. من عمل مع الدكتور عبد الكريم يعلم جيدا أهمية موقعه الوظيفي في الرقابة والتفتيش في أهم الأقسام في وزارة الصحة ويعلم كيف كان أبو محمد يؤدي مهامه على أكمل وجه بكل أمانة واخلاص.
صبركم الله أنسابنا الأحباب آل عابد الكرام على فراق الحبيب عبد الكريم، تعازينا الحارة لكم ولأختيّ الصابرة المحتسبة رفيدة (أم محمد) التي ودعت الزوج والأخ في نفس اليوم. عبدالكريم ترك خلفه ذرية طيبة ستحي ذكراه فينا ما حيينا أبدا.
الى الجنان باذن الله، كانت آخر لحظاتك مع أخي بلال في الدنيا و استشهدتم معا وان شاء الله تتجمعون معا في الآخرة.
