Five Palestinian journalists were killed at dawn on Thursday, December 26, 2024, as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting a broadcast vehicle located in front of Al-Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
A medical source told an Anadolu Agency correspondent that "an Israeli aircraft bombed a broadcast vehicle located in front of the southern gate of Al-Awda Hospital, killing five journalists inside and setting it on fire."
The source added that "the bodies of the martyred journalists were recovered from inside the burning vehicle, charred."
He reported that "the Israeli airstrike caused panic among patients, the wounded, and medical staff inside the hospital."

وقال مصدر طبي لمراسل الأناضول إن “طائرة إسرائيلية قصفت سيارة بث متواجدة أمام البوابة الجنوبية لمستشفى العودة، ما أدى إلى مقتل 5 صحفيين كانوا بداخلها واشتعال النيران فيها”.
وأضاف المصدر أن “جثامين الصحفيين الشهداء انتشلت من داخل السيارة المحترقة وكانت متفحمة”.
وأفاد بأن “الغارة الإسرائيلية تسببت بحالة من الذعر للمرضى والجرحى والكوادر الطبية داخل المستشفى
