Journalist Mohammed al-Jajah was killed on Monday, November 6, along with several members of his family, in an Israeli airstrike on his home in the al-Nasr neighborhood of Gaza City. With al-Jajah's death, the number of journalists killed by the Israeli occupation since October 7 has risen to more than 35, in addition to 32 others injured. The fate of photographers Nidal al-Wahidi and Haitham Abdul Wahid remains unknown. This crime adds to a list of what we believe to be war crimes against journalists, which includes murder, targeting families, destroying media institutions, and restricting the work of journalistic crews. قتل الصحفي محمد الجاجة الإثنين 6 نوفمبر/تشرين الثاني وعدد من أفراد أسرته في غارة للاحتلال على منزله بحي النصر بمدينة غزة،
ومع مقتل الجاجة يرتفع عدد الصحافيين، الذين قتلهم الاحتلال الإسرائيلي منذ 7 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول الماضي، إلى أكثر من 35 صحافياً، إلى جانب 32 صحافياً مصاباً. بينما لا يزال مصير المصورين نضال الوحيدي وهيثم عبد الواحد، مجهولا.
تضاف هذه الجريمة إلى قائمة مما نعتقد أنها جرائم حرب بحق الصحفيين، والتي تشمل القتل واستهداف العائلات وتدمير المؤسسات الصحفية، والحد من عمل طواقم العمل الصحفي.
