How do I mourn you?
Zainab, the mother of the poor
Zainab, whose time and life are all for God
Zainab, the virtuous and committed
Zainab, who is full of pain, comforts everyone and bears the worries of others
You lived and were martyred, and you yourself wanted to be a mother
You attained martyrdom, my dear, because you deserved it
I saw you the day we immigrated, and you were crying over your lost home and crying over the people and their migration, and you refused to immigrate and insisted on being steadfast and holding on, and you told me, "This way, this way, we will die as martyrs with our dignity." I hugged you tightly and said my final farewell.
Martyrdom is fitting for you, my dear.
To the mercy of the Most Merciful, my beloved, you, your father, your mother, your aunt Noura, Umm Muhammad al-Nawara, Uncle Ghanem, your brother Muhammad, Israa and her daughter, and Tawfiq.
May God have mercy on you.

شفتك يوم ماهاجرنا وكنتي تبكي ع بيتك اللي راح وبتبكي ع الناس وهجرتهم ورفضتي تهاجرتي واصريتي تصمدي وترابطي وقلتيلي هيك هيك مستشهدين نموت بكرامتنا حضنتك بقوة وودعتك وكان الوداع الأخير
بتلبقلك الشهادة ياعمري
