They were martyred due to a brutal Israeli bombardment on a crowd of displaced people who were told to leave their homes towards the south of Gaza. Upon their arrival, they faced treacherous shells from Israel. My brother was martyred and when my father went to see him, he too was killed. My 15-year-old nephew was brutally killed, with dreams of representing Palestine in football shattered. A 7-year-old girl lost her spleen and liver, and we hold onto the hope of her survival. In a moment, our family became a family of disabled individuals, either partially or entirely. This pain is experienced by the entire population of Gaza, where Israel treated them as animals, depriving them even of animal rights. Finally, as Palestinians, we will never lose hope in Allah's mercy and His victory for us against this cowardly enemy. We rally around our freedom Resistance and it's a struggle for either victory or Shahada. We believe our martyrs, our pain, and our suffering are for the sake of Allah, in whose presence no rights or rewards are lost.
