Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi announced that "other senior commanders" were killed in the strike that targeted Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah at his "underground command headquarters in the heart of Beirut." According to official statements and informed sources, Ali Karaki, considered the third-ranking military figure in the party and commander of its southern front, was killed in the same raid, along with Abbas Nilforoushan, deputy commander of operations for the Revolutionary Guard, and Zeinab Hassan Nasrallah, the daughter of the party's Secretary General.
