He added: 18 people were martyred in these attacks, one of whom was a Red Crescent aid worker, and 35 others were injured.

He reminded that the air defense zone in the northwest of the country and the area around Tabriz airport were among the places attacked by the Zionist regime in Tabriz four times.

The East Azerbaijan Crisis Management Department also issued a statement:

In honor of the martyrs of the Zionist regime's brutal aggression against our dear and proud country of Iran; it informs the honorable people of East Azerbaijan that since this morning, 11 points in different regions of the province have been subjected to air attacks by the Zionist regime, including seven points around Tabriz, two points in Bostan Abad city, one point in Maragheh city, as well as the second Shekari base and part of the runway of Shahid Madani Airport in Tabriz.

So far, 18 people have been martyred and 35 compatriots have been injured as a result of this brutal aggression.

It adds that apart from the aforementioned cases, the province's infrastructure facilities are stable and services to the people continue without any interruption or disruption.

با گرامیداشت یاد شهدای والا مقام تجاوز وحشیانه رژیم صهیونیستی به کشور عزیز و سربلندمان ایران؛ به اطلاع مردم شریف آذربایجان شرقی می‌رساند از بامداد امروز با حملات وحشیانه رژیم صهیونیستی، ۱۱ نقطه از مناطق مختلف استان از جمله هفت نقطه در اطراف تبریز، ۲ نقطه در شهرستان بستان آباد، یک نقطه در شهرستان مراغه و همچنین پایگاه دوم شکاری و بخشی از باند فرودگاه شهید مدنی تبریز مورد تهاجم هوایی قرار گرفته است.

تاکنون در پی این تجاوز وحشیانه، ۱۸ نفر به فیض شهادت نایل آمده و تعداد ۳۵ نفر از هم‌وطنان مجروح شده‌اند.

اضافه می‌ کند غیر از موارد ذکر شده، تاسیسات زیرساختی استان پایدار بوده و خدمات رسانی به مردم بدون هیچ وقفه‌ و اختلالی ادامه دارد.
