The General Directorate of State Security mourned in a statement First Sergeant Ahmed Idris, who was martyred on October 9, 2024, as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Kfar Tebnit in the Nabatieh district. The following is a brief biography:

- Born on April 16, 1993, in Kfar Tebnit

- Enlisted in the General Directorate of State Security as an officer on August 8, 2014, and rose through the ranks to the rank of First Sergeant.

- Posthumously promoted to the rank of Assistant.

- Served in several State Security directorates, most recently the Directorate of Personal Protection.

- Completed and successfully completed several combat training courses within the Directorate.

- Received several commendations. His funeral prayer will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 10, 2024, and he will be laid to rest in the Kafr Tibnit cemetery. The General Directorate of State Security extends its deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and friends, and considers his martyrdom a laurel wreath on his forehead and the forehead of the General Directorate, and a stain of shame on the history of the Israeli enemy, which is full of treachery, hatred, and disregard for all international agreements and conventions.

نعت المديريّة العامّة لأمن الدولة في بيان الرقيب أوّل أحمد إدريس، الذي استُشهد بتاريخ 9 - 10 – 2024، من جرّاء غارة استهدف فيها العدوّ الإسرائيليّ بلدة كفرتبنيت - قضاء النبطيّة، وفي ما يلي نبذة عن حياته :




-من مواليد 16 - 4 - 1993 –  كفرتبنيت
-تطوّع في المديريّة العامّة لأمن الدولة بصفة مأمور اعتباراً من 8 - 8 - 2014 وتدرّج في الرّتب حتّى رتبة رقيب أوّل.
-رُقّي إلى رتبة معاون بعد استشهاده.
-خدم في عدّة مديريّات تابعة لأمن الدولة كانت آخرها مديريّة حماية الشخصيّات.
-تابع عدّة دورات قتاليّة داخل المديريّة ونجح فيها.
-حائز عدّة تنويهات.
يُصلّى على جثمانه عند الساعة الواحدة من بعد ظُهر يوم الخميس 10- 10 - 2024، ويُوارى في الثرى في جبّانة كفرتبنيت.وتقدمت المديريّة العامّة لأمن الدولة من أهله وعائلته ومحبّيه بأحرّ التعازي، واعتبرت أن استشهاده إكليل غارٍ على جبينه وجبين المديريّة العامّة، ووصمة عارٍ في تاريخ العدوّ الإسرائيليّ الحافل بالغدر والأحقاد وتخطّي كلّ الاتفاقات والمواثيق الدّوليّة".
