Deir ez-Zor Governorate: International Coalition forces carried out an airdrop operation this morning in the city of Al-Shuhail in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside, with the participation of members of the Syrian Democratic Forces, in search of ISIS cells.
According to SOHR sources, the operation resulted in the arrest of two individuals accused of belonging to ISIS cells. The operation took place amid intense Coalition helicopter flights in the area, amid a state of security alert and the closure of roads leading to the landing site.

محافظة دير الزور: نفّذت قوات “التحالف الدولي”، فجر اليوم، عملية إنزال جوي في مدينة الشحيل بريف دير الزور الشرقي، وبمشاركة عناصر من قوات سوريا الديمقراطية بحثا عن خلايا تنظيم “الدولة الإسلامية”.
ووفقا لمصادر المرصد السوري، فقد أسفرت العملية عن اعتقال شخصين، بتهمة الانتماء لخلايا تنظيم “الدولة الإسلامية” وجرت العملية في ظل تحليق مكثف لطيران التحالف المروحي في أجواء المنطقة، وسط حالة من الاستنفار الأمني وقطع للطرق المؤدية إلى موقع الإنزال.
