Aleppo Governorate: Special forces from the International Coalition carried out a special airdrop operation in the Al-Baghzal neighborhood of Al-Bab city, east of Aleppo, targeting an ISIS cell. Ground forces from special units affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Damascus government's General Security participated in the operation.
The operation was preceded by a tight security cordon around the targeted site, a heavy deployment of forces on the ground, and the presence of coalition helicopters in the airspace of the area.
The operation resulted in the unknown fate of the cell members, some killed or detained, as a result of direct clashes and the dropping of bombs on their positions. The exact toll of the operation is not yet known due to the security cordon.
According to information, the cell targeted after midnight Thursday-Friday included an Iraqi emir, whose members are active in coordinating and mobilizing sleeper cells in northern Syria.
This operation is the first of its kind within areas controlled by the Turkish-backed National Army factions this year, reflecting a significant development in the quality and locations of operations carried out by the International Coalition against the organization.

محافظة حلب: نفّذت قوات خاصة من “التحالف الدولي عملية إنزال جوي نوعية في حي البوغزال بمدينة الباب شرقي حلب، استهدفت خلية تابعة لتنظيم “الدولة الإسلامية”، بمشاركة القوات البرية من وحدات خاصة تابعة لقوات سوريا الديمقراطية، والأمن العام التابع لحكومة دمشق.
سبق العملية فرض طوق أمني مشدد حول الموقع المستهدف، وانتشار مكثف للقوات على الأرض، تزامناً مع تحليق مروحيات التحالف في أجواء المنطقة.
وأسفرت العملية عن مصير مجهول لأفراد الخلية، بين قتيل ومعتقل، نتيجة الاشتباك المباشر ورمي القنابل على مواقعهم، فيما لم تُعرف بعد الحصيلة الدقيقة للعملية بسبب الطوق الأمني.
ووفقًا للمعلومات، فإن الخلية التي جرى استهدافها بعد منتصف ليل الخميس-الجمعة كان من بين أفرادها أمير عراقي الجنسية، عناصرها ينشطون في عمليات تنسيق وتحريك خلايا نائمة في الشمال السوري.
وتُعد هذه العملية الأولى من نوعها داخل مناطق سيطرة فصائل “الجيش الوطني” الموالية لتركيا خلال العام الجاري، ما يعكس تطورًا لافتًا في نوعية وأماكن تنفيذ عمليات “للتحالف الدولي” ضد “التنظيم”.
