Al-Hasakah province: SOHR initial reports have confirmed that a woman was killed and two other persons were injured in artillery fire by Turkish forces on Al-Zaydiyah village in Zarkan countryside in Al-Hasakah. The injured persons were taken to the hospital.

On February 9, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces fired artillery shells on the villages of Um Al-Kaif, Tel Jemaa and Mahttat Al-Abqar in Tel Tamr countryside, which caused substantial material damage.

SDF reacted to the Turkish bombardment by rocket fire targeting Manakh base where Turkish forces are stationed. SOHR sources have reported hearing successive explosions, but no casualties were reported.
