The Syrian Observatory has documented the death of 60 combatants and explosive ordnance disposal specialists, who were killed while attempting to remove and dismantle old ordinance since early 2025, as well as the injury of 27 others, including two members of the civil defence; they are distributed regionally as follows:
Aleppo: 16 fatalities and eight injured people, including a militiaman of the “National Army” and three members of engineering teams

Al-Raqqah: One fatality.
