Gaza, December 26, 2024 (WAFA) – Five journalists were killed early Thursday in an Israeli airstrike in the central Gaza Strip.

Our correspondent said that the Israeli occupation forces bombed a television broadcast vehicle in front of Al-Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat refugee camp, killing five journalists inside.

Our correspondent reported that among the martyred journalists was journalist Ayman Al-Hadi, who arrived at the hospital with his wife, who was about to give birth to their first child. However, he took advantage of the hours of waiting to check on his colleagues, who were at the hospital door in a television broadcast vehicle.

Since the beginning of the aggression on our people on October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have killed more than 190 journalists.

Medical sources announced that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 45,361, the majority of whom are children and women. The number of wounded has reached 107,803, while thousands of victims remain under the rubble.

غزة 26-12-2024 وفا- استشهد، فجر اليوم الخميس، خمسة صحفيين، في قصف لقوات الاحتلال الاسرائيلي، وسط قطاع غزة.

وقال مراسلنا إن قوات الاحتلال قصفت عربة بث تلفزيوني أمام مستشفى العودة بمخيم النصيرات، ما أدى إلى استشهاد خمسة صحفيين كانوا داخلها.

وأفاد مراسلنا، بأنه من بين الصحفيين الشهداء، الصحفي أيمن الحدي الذي وصل للمستشفى برفقة زوجته التي كانت على وشك ولادة طفلهما الأول، إلا أنه استغل ساعات الانتظار للاطمئنان على زملائه الذين كانوا عند باب المستشفى في عربة للبث التلفزيوني.

ومنذ بدء العدوان على شعبنا في السابع من تشرين الأول/ اكتوبر 2023، قتلت قوات الاحتلال أكثر من 190 صحفيا.

وكانت مصادر طبية، قد أعلنت، ارتفاع حصيلة الشهداء في القطاع إلى 45.361، أغلبيتهم من الأطفال والنساء، والمصابين إلى 107.803 جرحى، في حين لا يزال آلاف الضحايا تحت الأنقاض.
