"The bus stopped and we all ran away - we escaped death": During the rocket barrage last night (Tuesday) towards the central cities, a rocket hit a bus near Holon. The explosion injured two seriously and three moderately. A citizen who was on the bus said: "The rocket exploded and we heard a loud boom like no other." The bus was completely burned and nearby vehicles were also burned. The injured were evacuated to Wolfson Hospital in the city, from where it was reported that 32 people were injured (who also arrived from other scenes), including three seriously and two moderately. Chief Ami Eshed, commander of the Tel Aviv District, said that there were four passengers on the bus who fled from it and thus saved their lives. "The injuries are peripheral and the destruction is very great," said Eshed. There were also 18 panic victims in the incident and they were evacuated to the hospital in a minor condition. Eshad added that "even if there are additional volleys, we are prepared for this. The district knows how to deal with a multi-scene incident. Malchan, who lives near the scene of the impact, added: "One girl who was on the bus fell and her whole leg was covered in blood. We were literally saved from death, thank God. The alarm saved us and I will go say 'the avenger'. This is trauma." The district commander of the fire services, Capt. Ronen Mekhtaev, said at the scene of the impact on Sokolov Street - a main street in Holon - that the driver also managed to escape. "We have not seen anything like this in our area. Large forces arrived at the scene and took control of the fire. It appears that the bus was relatively empty and the driver managed to escape." MDA paramedic Regina Mizrahi said: "When we approached the scene, we saw the bus and several vehicles on fire. We immediately ran with the injured woman who was on the ambulance bed to a safe place under one of the buildings. "האוטובוס עצר וכולנו ברחנו - ניצלנו ממוות": במהלך מטח הרקטות אמש (שלישי) לעבר ערי המרכז, פגעה רקטה ליד אוטובוס בחולון. בפיצוץ נפצעו שניים באורח קשה ושלושה בינוני. אזרח שהיה על האוטובוס סיפר: "הרקטה התפוצצה ושמענו בום חזק כמותו לא שמעתי". האוטובוס נשרף כליל וגם כלי רכב סמוכים נשרפו. הפצועים פונו לבית החולים וולפסון בעיר, משם נמסר על 32 נפגעים (שהגיעו גם מזירות נוספות), בהם שלושה קשה ושניים בינוני.ניצב עמי אשד, מפקד מחוז תל אביב, סיפר כי על האוטובוס היו ארבעה נוסעים שברחו ממנו ובכך הצילו את חייהם. "הפגיעות הן היקפיות וההרס גדול מאוד", אמר אשד. באירוע גם היו 18 נפגעי חרדה והם פונו לבית החולים במצב קל. אשד הוסיף כי "גם אם יהיו מטחים נוספים אנחנו ערוכים לכך, המחוז יודע להתמודד עם אירוע רב זירתי, אנחנו בפועל מתמודדים עם כמה זירות במקביל ונמשיך לעשות זאת". ירון מלכן, תושב חולון שהיה על האוטובוס שנפגע, סיפר: "האוטובוס עצר וכולנו ברחנו החוצה. הרקטה התפוצצה ושמענו 'בום' חזק שלא שמעתי כמוהו". מלכן, שמתגורר בסמוך למקום הפגיעה, הוסיף: "בחורה אחת שהייתה באוטובוס נפלה וכל הרגל שלה הייתה מלאה דם. ממש ניצלנו ממות, תודה לאל. האזעקה הצילה אותנו ואני אלך להגיד 'הגומל'. זו טראומה". מפקד המחוז בשירותי הכיבוי, טפסר רונן מכטייב, אמר בזירת הפגיעה ברחוב סוקולוב - רחוב ראשי בחולון -כי גם הנהג הספיק לברוח. "לא ראינו דבר כזה במחוזותינו. כוחות גדולים הגיעו למקום והשתלטו על הבעירה. ככל הנראה מדובר באוטובוס שהיה יחסית ריק והנהג הספיק לברוח".פרמדיקית מד"א רג'ינה מזרחי סיפרה: "כשהתקרבנו לזירה ראינו את האוטובוס ומספר כלי רכב עולים באש. אישה כבת 30 שכבה על אי תנועה כשהיא בהכרה וסובלת מפגיעת רסיס בפלג גופה העליון. התחלנו בטיפול רפואי מציל חיים כשבמקביל מתחילה אזעקה נוספת. מיד רצנו יחד עם הפצועה שהייתה על מיטת האמבולנס למקום בטוח מתחת לאחד הבניינים. ברגע שהאזעקה נגמרה וניתן היה לצאת חזרה לרחוב, הכנסנו אותה לאמבולנס ופינינו אותה לבית החולים כשמצבה יציב".ראש העיר חולון, מוטי ששון, התייחס לאירוע ואמר כי "אני 28 שנה ראש העיר, לא זוכר אירוע כזה. מי חלם על זה? טירוף". הוא הוסיף כי "לא רק חולון, כל מדינת ישראל נמצאת בעידן חדש וצריכים לצערי להתרגל לזה". עשרות רקטות נורו במטחים רצופים מהשעה 20:46 אל ערים רבות בגוש דן, בשפלה ובשרון. נכון לשעה 21:10 טען חמאס שירה 130 רקטות, אך בהמשך נורו רקטות רבות נוספות. יירוטים רבים נשמעו מעל תל אביב וערים בכל רחבי השרון והמרכז. מוקדם יותר, אחרי שכלי טיס של צה"ל מוטטו הערב מגדל בן 13 קומות בעיר עזה, איימו ארגוני הטרור ברצועה לירות לכיוון תל אביב. דובר הזרוע הצבאית של הג'יהאד האיסלאמי איים כי בשעה 21:00 יירה הארגון רקטות לעבר תל אביב. איומיו הצטרפו לאיומי חמאס שפורסמו קודם לכן, ולפיהם "אם האויב ימשיך לתקוף מבנים אזרחיים, תל אביב תהיה במוקד של מכת טילים קשה יותר ממה שהיה באשקלון".האיום של חמאס הגיע אחרי גל תקיפות של צה"ל, שכוון למבנים בעיר עזה. באחת התקיפות חוסל בכיר חמאס איאד שריר, שהוא גם מפקד מערך הנ"ט של העיר עזה בארגון. בצה"ל אמרו כי הוא היה אחראי לכמה פיגועי ירי נ"ט בשטח ישראל, וכי המערך שבראשו עמד היה במוכנות לפיגוע במתווה נ"ט בזמן החיסול. מקורות פלסטיניים מסרו כי בתקיפות נהרגו כמה בני אדם נוספים.פורסם לראשונה: 23:17, 11.05.21 להמשך קריאה
