In a "precise" attack on Beirut, the Israeli army announced on Friday the killing of Hezbollah's "communications system commander," Muhammad Rashid Skafi. Skafi was "one of Hezbollah's veteran terrorists and had served as commander of the communications system since 2000. في هجوم وصفته بـ«الدقيق» على بيروت، أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي، الجمعة، مقتل "قائد منظومة الاتصالات" في #حزب_الله، محمد رشيد سكافي.

وقال الجيش الإسرائيلي في بيان "هاجمنا أمس بشكل دقيق في منطقة بيروت وتم القضاء على الإرهابي محمد رشيد سكافي قائد منظومة الاتصالات في حزب الله الإرهابي".

وكان سكافي «من المخربين القدامى في حزب الله وشغل منصب قائد منظومة الاتصالات منذ العام 2000 وكان مقربًا من كبار قادة حزب الله وامتلك خبرة وصلاحيات واسعة في التنظيم»، وفق البيان.

وأشار إلى أن "سكافي كان يبذل جهودًا حثيثة لتطوير اتصال متواصل بين كافة الوحدات والمنظومات في حزب الله في وقت الروتين وفي الطوارئ بهدف الحفاظ على استمرارية نقل المعلومات في التنظيم بشكل متواصل".
