In the Ali al-Taher forest, close to the site where his brother Mustafa was martyred years ago, Mahmoud Atwi, a worker for the Nabatieh al-Fawqa municipality, was martyred today after being pursued by an Israeli drone while operating the municipality's artesian well. Atwi always said, "My end is as a martyr... I will not stop performing my duties, even if no one remains in the town."

في حرش علي الطاهر، وعلى مقربة من موقع استشهاد شقيقه مصطفى قبل سنوات، استُشهد اليوم محمود عطوي، العامل في بلدية النبطية الفوقا، بعدما لاحقته مسيّرة إسرائيلية أثناء تشغيله البئر الارتوازي التابع للبلدية. وكان عطوي يقول دائماً: «نهايتي شهيد... لن أتوقف عن أداء مهمتي، حتى لو لم يبقَ أحد في البلدة».
